KP Report on the Fighting Illini (UI)

Chill stepped in front of 12 and he went straight through him. Looked like he raised his arm a bit also. Wasn’t anything outrageous.

so wrong. It was a brutal cheap shot. You know it was because he never stopped to look at Brandon. he knew what he did. Hope he gets suspended.

Danny played Sarr and Doral together for about ten minutes tonight. Hopefully, this will continue to grow.

This. They looked pretty good out there together. A high/low with Sarr at the top would be something to see eventually.

Dirty cheap shot forearm from behind to the back of Chill's head.

Yo, Ill :fu:

Plus it's not like Chill is flopping there, the game is over. Legit shot to the head.

According to ESPN Doral only had one block...Did he play close to 30 minutes tonight?

We need Key to start. He's looked terrible coming off the bench.

Does anyone have video of Randolph “discussion” with Illini coaches? Would love to see it

Gave up 17 Off boards- really need to clean this up.

This is because of playing four smalls and playing so much zone. Defensive rebounding is much more difficult out of a zone and is even harder playing four short guards.

32 minutes for Doral and he didn't appear winded! great job Ryan Horn

2-0 with Woods as 6th man. He scored 20 last game. I like having fire power off the bench.

32 min. He had a block taken away when MW was called for a block in the lane. As you know the value of Moore is the threat of the block. When Ill tried to drive the hoop they were not given layups.

It was a win. It looked like the Deacs played a 2-3 zone with Doral or Olivier at the rim. They also played a 3-2 zone if both Doral and Olivier were on the floor. Rebounding suffered as evidenced by an Illini 39-25 advantage, but rebounding is lacking in their man to man as well. There was evidence of effort and execution on defense. D had more floor balance and switching was simplified. Players had to be excited to see Sarr block a shot in a big moment then watch Sarr and Doral sandwich a player to create a turnover a few moments later. Hell, I was excited.

I disagree. He came off the bench last game and had 20 points. He's a great offensive player but is struggling defensively. That is the perfect type of player to bring off the bench.
