I was in first period as well, found out in the hall between first and second. Reports at that time were that a bomb had gone off in the first tower. The entire 2nd period (Algebra II) was spent staring at the TV in the classroom. Watched the 2nd plane hit live. Did nothing the rest of the day. I can think of no other event that shaped the US so drastically in my lifetime; I can think of no other event I remember so vividly in the 'where were you when you found out' kind of way.

Me too. Was working at my internship and checked the boards when rumors started flying like crazy. A couple of fellow Deacons and I were shellshocked. Just an awful day...we couldn't even comprehend it at the time.

I'm doing 3 leagues this year. Yahoo 20 team, ESPN 10 team, and NFL.com 12 team (pay). Haven't drafted the ESPN team yet, but feeling most solid about that league, since it's work noobs.

I'm also doing 3. Same Yahoo 20 team, plus ESPN 6 teams and ESPN 10 team.
 
Ugh. I'm tired. A friend wants me to meet her out at a bar. I don't think I have le energy.
 
The two cheeseburger meal at McD's revived me a little bit, but I still feel a bit off with all the sun, drinking, etc.
