BBall Recruiting Thread 2k19 - Charles Coleman de-commits to Wake. :(

I'm very intrigued by Wright, but man, what we are going to do with all these wings. My excitement for Hoard or Mucius to play extended minutes at PF has dimmed.

Yeah I don't know what position Wright projects as but if he can effectively play the PG/CG position at 6'5-6'6 then we will be a tough team to guard and score on. With the size, I expect our offense to be much more balanced next year. We return Key: 40%, Crawford: 37%, Chill: 35%, Mitchell: 60% (very few attempts), and Chaundee: 37% but graduate wilbekin: 46%. Hopefully we can get more out of Olivier from behind the three point line and we could have a very very good offense again next year (plus a much better defense, hopefully).

I'm not sure if any of Mucius, Hoard, or Wright are considered to have shooting as a strength, but if anyone has info on that it would be welcomed. I do not include Jamie Lewis because I don't know the last time he played basketball.

I feel like Jamie Lewis could become the 2018 version of the Grim Threeper and just never play again. Or end up awesome. Either one.

I'm more worried about locking up a 2019 PG. Crawford and Childress aren't going anywhere. At least they shouldn't.

Agreed, and I really want Anthony Harris. Deuce Dean could be another name to keep an eye on.

Virtually no evidence pointing toward awesome.

The only thing we seem to have is absence of evidence, or evidence of his absence from basketball playing for a considerable length of time. Until we have better evidence of presence, we just won't know.

Could be he is working with Lavar Ball away from the limelight.

I mean before he got injured a long while ago, Lewis was ranked #38 in the country by 247 and the #5 PG. That's pretty damn awesome for WF. If he can get back to that ceiling, we've got ourselves a good one. Or we end up with CamStan in PG form.

Yeah low risk, high reward take in the current college basketball landscape. Either he turns out to be good enough to play ball in the ACC or he transfers after two years.

Just heard from someone that Sharone is still expected to grow (he's a touch over 6'5 now), but is going to be playing a PG/CG/SG role in college for Wake. One of the reasons he chose Wake was because he wants to continue to play the guard position in college. We should have one of the larger and more athletic teams in the country in a year or two.

Didn't we have some contacts with Christian Brown and Josh Nickleberry?

Sharone is very athletic and can be a good defender with his length and quickness but will score mostly by getting to the rim as he is not currently a good shooter. This year he is shooting 30% from three and 65% FT's so hopefully he can improve his shot by the time he gets here. Still excited to have an athletic, competitive, and long CG in the fold

My hopes are LD Williams with tighter handles. I'd be great with that as his ceiling.
