NFL Offseason Thread: 2018 NFL Draft

I had a person giving me 1000:1 odds that his dick was bigger than mine. So yeah, I did something that I never thought I would have done, just like you would if somebody gave you 1000:1 odds on something you thought you had a reasonable chance of winning. And, truth be told, I would have won that bet if we went to a water displacement test, but it was just so embarrassing that I just called it a draw with palma in hopes he would stop being a Trump...he hasn't.

Shame on me.

Also, I am exactly 6 inches long, thank you very much. Ask sd3 assuming his eyes still work.

I got bored.

Whatever blows your hair back dude!

Only a Cowboys fan would try to derail a discussion about an ending like that. Whether that was the greatest ending in pro sports (and no, soccer doesn't count) history or just one of the top 50, it was pretty fucking awesome to watch.

Even better that it happened to the Saints, so that we don't have to watch the bespectacled and bloated Kenny Chesney lookalike complaining on the sidelines for another week. I do find it ironic that the Saints draft class has been held to such high regard, yet it was 1st round pick Lattimore who got toasted by and then flagged on the Thielen catch on one of the few throws his way all game, and then 2nd round pick Williams who blew the game winner, both directly leading to the loss.

Vikings strong road favorites against Philly. Wonder if the Saints would've been favored by as much.

On Golic and Wingo this a.m., they were saying the Eagles would have been slight favorites against the Saints. This is why I was rooting for LAR against Atlanta. I wanted the Saints/Vikings game to be next week because those are the 2 best teams left, at least in the NFC. I'm a Vikes fan now - figure they have the best chance to beat NE.

And WHY TF did Jax pick up the $19mil option on Bortles for next year?!?

That is just dumb. You can't tell me that they wouldn't feel more confident going into New England with ELIte running the show.

Tenn shit-canned Mularkey this morning, from what i am told.

I don't often agree with you, but I do here. I know they're stuck with Bortles this season. But just go get Eli in the offseason and pay him about the same price, and let him hand it off 60-65% of the time. They have a good receiving corps when healthy, and Eli would be the perfect vet QB who is in there not to turn it over and make some key throws. Bortles was an unmitigated disaster last week against Buffalo where he kept missing every dump off pass imaginable. He was not great yesterday, though I was really impressed with the Jags OC. He hit half his passes, missed a bunch, and took 2-3 chances into double coverage going long. The Bohanan TD could have been thrown by any QB. The 1 really good decision and throw was the long post to the rookie WR because there was no safety help on that play. Pitt also did a poor job in coverage with Jags RBs - gave up some big yardage there. I don't see Belichick making the same mistake. He'll do his best to take away the running game and make Bortles throw to his WRs.

BTW, Pitt really misses Shazier on D.

NFL Offseason Thread: Bears hire Chiefs OC Matt Nagy

Hey! Ardmore is nice. Fuck you.

There were multiple cameras there dude. That particular YouTube was just that one.

Silly man

Cowboys fan reduced to talking about completely different sport on the NFL thread.

I hate to take Moon's side in anything, but I tried to watch that damn soccer video too and the camera angle was so bad that even the most exciting finish in soccer history still was hard to watch and dare I say....boring. Now watch DV7's head explode. But pick a better video to try and prove us soccer neanderthals wrong.

haha, just the first one that popped up on the youtube search

actual commentary from the most amazing sporting finish I've ever witnessed, gotta fast forward to get to the last 3 minutes:

Where did you see that? I'm pretty sure they can cut ties with him before March or so.
