Louie returns April 9 at 10:30 (summer TV thread)

Didn't expect much out of the Entourage series finale, but that smart journalist chick agreeing to marry Vince, the recovering drug addict whose last girlfriend was an anal porn queen, on their first date has to take the cake for dumbest shit ever.

And of course HBO couldn't leave well enough alone, and had to come back with the open ended crap after the credits.

I enjoyed the ending for Ari and E/Sloane, as those have been the build-ups for a while. Nice culmination of valuing priorities.

The Vince marriage and all was just stupid. End it with brotherhood or family as that's been the common theme. And trying to claim this is Vince's way of looking towards building his own family is bull as even everything in this episode was about them all being family through thick and thin.

Anonymous did you see the Ari/Mrs. Ari stuff after the credits?

Of course they leave it open ended. That allows for movie(s) just like they did with Sex in the City. The cast has already said they want at least 1 movie, even Mark Wahlberg has said he would fund it.

Did anybody have money on Curb and Entourage finishing up in Paris?

Entourage was poor and rushed. Nice finish with Mrs. Ari though.

Curb was fantastic.

The gay kid may have been the funniest thing I have ever seen.

I like that they got back together because everyone lied to Sloan about E fucking her ex-stepmom. No worries -- Sloan will never find out the truth. So it's all good! Long live the E/Sloan relationship!

I liked the Entourage storyline, but it was extremely rushed, would have been best for an hour finale.

Yeah, though the Vince line kind of covered this. Think he said something to the effect of even if he did, he did it because of/for you. In a weird way, it kind of makes sense.

Entourage didn't do much right on the finale, but the one thing they have been consistent with is excellent music for situations......the zep song as both jets were leaving was fantastic...

Wilfred is one crazy show. It redefines the term "dark comedy". I'm not sure what to think. This show has moved beyond a suicidal guy who thinks a dog talks to him into this weird mythos that is part "Fight Club" and part deep character study.

What was the end to Wilfred about?
He opened up a closet, what was the significance of the closet?

Answering the question above

The door he opened had been the door to the basement the entire season, but when he opens it at the end it is only a closet.

"It's a chalupa inside a burrito...wrapped the fuck up"

The gay kid was good but not as good as the one from School of Rock.

I loved the use of Going to California too. Good song. Thought the finale was rushed and cheesy, but my DVR cut it off early so I didn't see whatever occurred post-credits. Is it worth recording it again to see whatever footage was included after the credits? Or does someone want to catch me up to speed?
