They can’t enter 18-19 with him on the roster. He’s the worst goaltender in the league by a significant margin. Find a way to dump him and maybe sign Raanta.
 
Peters needs to go, Faulk needs to go, Ryan is trash, Skinner seems to turn every goalie into Patrick Roy when he gets wide open shots so let him go do that elsewhere too. Let old man Francis fade into the mist, forget even giving him some obligatory title. Give Zykov, and Nedeljkovic a friggin chance. Send Darling back to AA, I seriously feel like he may have fallen off the wagon after moving to Raleigh because he doesn’t even look like the guy I watched in Chi town. You have tops 5 years to get this dumpster fire under control before Dundon has no choice to look at Houston, or hell anywhere that hasn’t been subjected to a decade of underperforming, or overwhelmed hockey teams. Sorry that was about 6 months of ranting I’ve been holding in there.
 
Worried Peters has won over Dundon. He gotta go.

We've been trying this possession/just-throw-the-puck-at-the-net-and-hope-for-the-best approach for years now between Muller and Peters. Time for a different style

After tonight's 3rd period, the stake has been driven through the Canes playoff heart for sure......holy shit that period turned south in a hurry.

The East is down to 9 teams for 8 spots.

The West is where the action is at: 6 points separate 8 teams (this is excluding the Perds/Vegas/Jets locks) in the playoff hunt.
 
Yeah I’m not buying that. They haven’t even interviewed anyone, much less made any contract offers. Canadian media just makes shit up routinely. (See: relocation rumors)
 
There definitely seems to be an effort out there to discredit Dundon. Wonder if he's already p'oed some other owners or somethin
 
He effectively fired a legendary player...this is Canadian backlash. The in-crowd around the league doesn’t like new people who don’t revere a guy like Francis.

For the record, I agree that Francis needed to go, and see no problem with an owner removing someone he doesn’t see eye to eye with.

But people in the league were never going to be okay with that.

Yeah that’s BS. If he was that cheap he would have just canned Francis all together not given him some BS ceremonial job
