Any news on what he did.......first time or second time?

I noticed that Clawson did not mention him when talking about the TEs a day or 2 ago.
 
Do we know more about Scotty Washington? I thought I heard that Saturday we would find out.
 
Is there a reason to be worried? I can definitely see why Clawson would hold out Dortch and Washington and give the young WRs more reps.
 
Clawson isn't playing Dortch in any scrimmages (not sure about Washington). Apparently Dortch's mastery of his craft is sufficiently demonstrated in regular practice. Not going to get our main weapon on offense injured before the season starts. Don't blame him at all.

Clawson's comment was that Dortch will be getting 75% of the snaps. He needed to see which guy(s) would be getting the other 25%.
 
Any reason to be concerned Mike Allen didn’t show up on the stat sheet? He’s the biggest recruit to debut this year.

You've got to read what came before he said that:

He was the other player suspended with Hinton so this is not first.

My specific question to Clawson was "did he violate the same team rule that he violated in June?" He smiled and repeated the same information we were given by media relations, that "it was for a violation of team rules." That's all we're going to get on the record from coaches or WF personnel.

This was interesting last night, that Jaquarii Roberson didn't immediately get reps in the slot. It seems to be a fluid position, honestly. Bachman knows every receiver position and Higgins has called him the best receiver on the roster in and out of cuts and breaks, they obviously think highly of his versatility. I'd think, in the 25 percent of snaps that Dortch won't be out there, it'll be a split between Roberson and Bachman for slot reps.

Yeah, I would assume that Bachman and Roberson are battling it out for the 25%. Would assume Surratt would replace Bachman on the outside when Bachman moves inside.

That makes sense. So Robinson isn’t just battle with Bachman for reps. He’s battling with all the other WRs.

Looks like we will keep using almost exclusively 3 WR sets. Will Clawson and Ruggiero keep a TE on the field even though that TE isn’t Serigne?
 
At this point if we just have an average to above average game manager at QB, a defense who knows their assignments, and a middle of the pack kicking game, then we will win 8-9 games.

I feel like our front 7 will get a lot of pressure on opposing QB’s and our Secondary will hold their own. Skill players will be top-5 ACC good. Offensive line will dominate and help our rushing game do the same.

All comes back to now t having drastic drop off in QB play. Should be a fun season nonetheless.
