OT wins on the road aren't easy to come by for Wake. We're 0fer a lot in this situation.

So yeah, poor showing but a lot to hope for with Hartman getting more experience and our OL getting their shit together as the season wears on.
 
Offense needs to close out drives, but Hartman is going for be just fine
 
378 yards. 64 rushing. 2 TD, 2 INT. Shoulda been 3 TD, 1 INT. Nice game Hartman.
 
Hope Herron is okay but didnt look good. Davis looked like a torn ACL.


All that said, Hartman is just an absolute beast. My god - he's a stud.
 
My buddy's glad he got us at -6.

Completely non ideal playing a middling decent team like this on the road in the first game. Shades of the fucking BURNER back in 2002. Get the job done and move on

Almost 450 total yards for Hartman and a 120+ QB rating in his debut on the road, plus the win on top of it. Pretty good shit.
 
Definitely will take it. If we could figure out how to run the ball effectively earlier and have a really balanced attack our offense can be really good. I'm just not sure we will pull that off. I mean it took us to ot to wear down Tulane enough to run at all. Guess we will see. Defense is more worrisome imo.
