The New Socialists

Only a fed would ask this

It's really subversive because I know any real socialist has a fully formed opinion from both a theoretical and pragmatic point of view that they can't wait to share, yet, they don't want to wind up in Guantanamo.

for the record, capitalists were indispensable allies for the communists when it came to defeating the fascism

Project Veritas free publicity FTW! They think its some bombshell that a DC DSA member works for the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations.

Obama endorsed a whole list of candidates, virtually all moderates or incumbents. Reportedly he's not finished, but its very disappointing so far.

"Obama sucked as a President, governed as a centrist, and true progressives like me hate him. I am also very disappointed that he has not endorsed true progressive candidates."

It’s hard being so outraged at all times you can’t even laugh or joke on a message board with strangers.

That about sums it up, yeah.

well, if you buy the idea was that as president he was hamstrung by a bad faith GOP congress that prevented him from pursuing his true progressive values, then you may think that as a free agent he would take measures to 1) address that publicly in an effort to regain some of the widespread support that he had in 2008 and 2) join the progressive momentum and endorse some candidates that reflect those true values he has

progressives should thank Obama for helping get trump elected which fueled the membership boom in progressive groups

Or 3) not make it all about him and let new talent grab the spotlight.

I might buy that idea. I don't think MDMH buys that idea.

nor do I

I am curious what people think are the policy difference between Obama and Hilary? They're essentially the exact same, personalities notwithstanding. Nobody thinks Hilary is that progressive.
