BBall Recruiting Thread 2k19 - Charles Coleman de-commits to Wake. :(

I like Massoud and he fits the mold of tall position-less players with skill. Played on PSA Cardinals, which is the same program Mucius came from, and Cole Anthony has played for the past 2 summers. I think he would need to put on some muscle mass to play the 4 in the ACC, but I think he could be an ideal stretch 4 if he gets his body college ready.

The only person who had a hard on for Reggie Johnson while he was in HS was reginator

Josiah Jordan-James to the Vols, despite the majority of Crystal Balls having him going to Clemson. Rick Barnes is building something to be in good shape to challenge UK when the one & done rule goes away. Brownell may still face some heat after missing out on Williamson and this kid.

I bet Barnes took some joy from stealing him from Clemson.

Does Barnes have bad blood with Clemson? He left them for Texas. They didn't fire him.

A good big to compliment Sarr is important. If somehow Wake can get Massoud and Jackson-Davis this weekend, then Wake is in good shape because the frontcourt will be taken care of for 2019-20. Harris would be nice because this roster lacks a high-level college PG, which Wake had gotten used to with CP3, Ish, Jeff Teague, and to an extent Crawford. That being said, frontcourt has way bigger needs than backcourt for the '19-20 roster.

If anyone sees Sarr on campus today, be sure to give him a good big compliment.

Barnes was widely criticized by the fanbase for only beating UNC once in 10 or 11 games. He beat them in the NCAA tourney I think, but lost twice a year to them and once more in an ACC tourney game. Seemed short-sighted of the fanbase because he actually did really well against Coach K. He essentially played Duke straight up. He was less successful against us than Duke. He was something like 15-30 against ranked teams. Not bad, but not good.

I think he left for better facilities, an easier conference, and a more livable town. I don't think Clemson has been as good as they were then since - but they weren't mourning his departure....

Clemson absolutely never ever beat Unc in an ncaa tourney game. They did beat the tar holes in the first round of the 1996 acc tourney, which helped wake as we then beat Clemson in the 2nd round in route to our title that year. Barnes also famously went nose to nose with Dean Smith during another game and the Clemson fans loved that they had a coach who would give hell to that elitist blue blood school. When Barnes did leave, the thing that pissed off clemson fans was the rumors that Barnes thought the public schools in Clemson were subpar and he wanted to raise his family in an area with better schools.

Thank you, Greg Buckner!

Yes, I meant ACC tourney

think he beat the in the ACC tourney on a last second dunk by Greg Buckner Duncan's JR (year we beat Ga Tech).

Dean Smith went after Iker Iturbe for a hard foul and Barnes went after Smith.
