I'm 100% a single issue voter from here on out and that's to make it easy to buy pot and pot accessories. Time to overthrow the old white guys who are blocking my dreams.

I think you're on to something here. If everyone could smoke a bowl once or twice a week once they reach the age of ~20, the world would be a lot chiller and things skin color, immigration policy, tariffs, gun rights would seem a lot less important.

Instead, we've got an administration doubling down on mandatory minimums and locking up minor offenders left and right.
 
Creamy will have to just keep voting for them until all the Democrats are 100% for legalization.

You have got to be kidding me. OWGs? You couldn’t walk into a WFU frat house in the 70s on a Friday or Saturday without getting a pretty good contact high. And you were likely to be passed a joint at any concert arena back then.

Those were better times I imagine. Most OWGs in my family like a good toke but boomers as a whole seem to be the reason it’s still illegal most everywhere.

None of this is a surprise from Trump. It's who he is, and has always been. It may end up being a foolish tactical political mistake to not play up the economy and go negative and make crazy claims like this, but I think he's emotionally and temperamentally incapable of running a more positive, upbeat, unifying campaign. What is really noteworthy about this election season is that virtually the entire GOP has joined him. Many GOP candidates this year are running as Trump clones. It truly is his party now, and they proudly own him and emulate him and his style. If the GOP does well this year, then every GOP campaign from this point will be run the same way we've seen this year - lots of fearmongering, open racism, bigotry, homophobia, all of it. And the reasons why will be simple: this is how the GOP's new leader behaves, this is what their base wants, and above all, it works, and wins them elections. The only way to stop this is to beat them in a nationwide election, and badly. Tomorrow night will be the test.

Speaking of Stewart, I saw the first Stewart ad today. You won't believe this, but it was all about the "caravan". Not sure if the ads have been on more in more rural parts of the state, but there have bee a few Kaine ads.
