Election Day 2018

Yeah, as of last night Maricopa County alone somehow still had over 500,000 ballots to be counted. I don't know how you get to that increment of outstanding votes but it's not as if this is just some random event.

Apparently not only do Broward County and Palm Beach County have EARLY voting but both counties have LATE voting as well.

Would these ballots have magically appeared almost 48 hours after the polls closed if Gillum and Nelson were declared victors on election night?

What a joke.
Typical Republican doesn't want everybody's vote to count. It's all they got.

Other FL counties (even those hit recently by a CAT 4 hurricane) somehow managed to count all of the votes and submit timely results.

Yet poor Broward just can’t figure it out even when larger Dade county has no issues.

Makes you wonder

why so many precincts are under funded? yeah, us, too

In Arizona about 75% of people vote by mail and you can drop off your mail-in ballot on election day.

I don't think it's a huge mystery. Elections are often underfunded and turnout was much higher than expected than usual. Here is US voter turnout in the presidential and subsequent primary starting in 2000.

2000 - 55.3% / 40.5%
2004 - 60.7% / 41.3%
2008 - 62.2% / 41.8%
2012 - 58.6% / 36.7%
2016 - 60.1% / 48.1% (est)

2018 turnout is about 33% higher than 2014 turnout. Even more than that taking population growth into account. So counties that budgeted based on 2014 turnout are probably understaffed.

Supposedly 24k more votes for gov than senate in broward. This final result is going to make brad a sad puppy.

Also read that if these numbers are true it means more people voted for agriculture commissioner than one of the most contested senate elections in the nation. Doesn't pass the smell test unless there is some reason why people missed or forgot to vote for Nelson or Scott.

The easiest explanation is that it's a machine problem. Nelson-Scott is going to get a hand count anyway, so we should see that resolved.

clearly comparable primary ballots being destroyed in a 16 point race 3 months later vs votes still being count two days after the election.

The difference is Braaaad's opinion on the recount would change if the parties were switched and mine wouldn't.

Quick, check Info Wars and Stormfront!

It’s because he’s a fucking moron and the country is full of fucking morons like Brad that thinks they are some American patriots for embracing the fact that they are dumb as shit.

i mean, we all predicted the Republican response to D wins was going to be varying levels of "illegitimate!"

If the Dems in the House has any cajones, the first bill would be to ban bump stocks and have universal background checks.

Trump said he supported both in the past. Make him and the Senate go on the record.
