How millennials killed American cheese

On bitching about things Diggler then Milhouse required more bullshit internet outrage than what I posted.

to be clear, i was making fun of the "outrage" generated by your original post. just because someone makes an observation about races doesn't make it racism.

I mean it’s not my fault the majority of the boards knows that cheese is like blue and red birds, American cheese belongs with American cheese and French cheese belongs with French cheese and shouldn’t be mixed.

22 gets super salty about racist posts about Asians but suckles at the Trump nipple. Weird

Good point do we have any other Asian posters that want to weigh in because a trump loving whatabout douchey Austin bros faux outrage doesn’t really move the needle.

I don't generally agree with cata or creamy on well...anything, especially the god awful takes on cheese displayed on this thread, but I get uncomfortable at some of the outright racist shit towards Asians posted on the boards whenever cata is around. Some of y'all motherfuckers would have got along real well worth it my grandpa who fought in the Pacific theater.

Really pathetic for someone to post this and have a PhD. Really sad.

Look up “model minority.”

Then look up the Harvard case.

Then tell me what evidence you have that Republicans care about Asians. I know that’s your team and everything but don’t talk shit to me unless you’re capable of some real self-reflection.

And please don’t pull out some sad “OMG stop calling me a racist” crap. Give me some evidence.

Ph - Why is it OK to talk about what "Republicans" think or do - any more than it is to generalize about a race or gender? Do all republicans think the same about all these issues?

I don’t know. Do they?

Why? Because a political party is a reflection of someone’s political ideology, what they choose to think.

So yes, it’s obviously ok to generalize about what someone thinks based on how they choose to classify what they think.

Do you political party is political identity like racial identity and gender identity?

You may have something there. I think you can make a case that conservative white people view their political party and religion as identity in a way people of other races don’t. That’s why they see attacks on their political views as personal attacks.

Is there anything more indicative of the state of our country today than the fact that a discussion of American cheese has devolved into a partisan pissing match?

Wow, that's quite a load of crap. There are many, many factors that go into a party affiliation - feelings about government, economy, social issues, fiscal issues, international policy - and on and on. On each of those issues people within a party fall somewhere on a spectrum - some may be far apart from one another on any given issue yet still belong to the same party. So I do think it is pretty lazy to generalize about Republicans about specific issues - especially when you are basically saying that all Republicans are racists. That is ridiculous.

You may be able to generalize by party at a very high level on certain issues - like republicans are generally fiscally conservative, believing in smaller, less intrusive government - stuff like that. But saying Republicans "like Asians as a backdoor way to hate blacks" is over the line ridiculous.

Republicans don’t believe in those things.

Is that offensive?

The vast majority of polled republicans support Trump but we can’t generalize

No they aren’t and no they don’t. The fiscally-conservative GOP is as real as Santa Claus or Jesus.

Ok so let’s accept your premise. All those factors go into party affiliation and you can’t make statements about the common beliefs and actions of people in a political party.

How many factors go into race and gender and how do you think party is similar to race and gender?

And I did notice you didn’t refer to my evidence nor did you provide any of your own. That’s dismissive and disrespectful. Look up the model minority myth and explain to me how Republicans don’t do that.

I also noticed you did the whole predictable “OMG stop calling me a racist” victim routine. Stop being a snowflake and let someone call your party out on their BS. Have a reasonable discussion like a reasonable person.
