but to answer barca's question for myself, yes, I would vote for Harris or Gabbard if they were the nominee

that doesn't mean that

1) I wouldn't support alternatives in the primary

2) they shouldn't be held to account for their bad policies/beliefs/decisions over their careers

3) I wouldn't be satisfied with a genuine walk-balk, apology, or commitment to change on the issues


seems like bad politics to push back on accountability -- how else do you think we can prevent future bad policies/actions if you don't call out what has happened?

I admitted my mistake on Vietnam. The War on Drugs that I’m talking about is the one your generation started in the 1980’s. Reagan may have predated your generation, but the people surrounding him and the prominent conservative voters at the time were prime boomers, so you don’t get to escape that one. And even if I accept your frankly erroneous assertion that the Iraq War started under GWB was actually GHWB’s war, please see above.

Chances are you can't find my past statements and that they didn't say what you think they said. I don't think cages (jails/prisons) should exist. Period.
