What’s the point of this faux high block we play? If your front 2/4 aren’t going to do anything, it seems like a waste of time and energy. It also has allowed Curaçao time and space to create a few worrying midfield “rushes”, to steal a hockey term.
 
Zardes is a clod, and always was. Stu Holden is a little bitch. And I think we're seeing what the Berhalter experiment is gonna produce. This is madness. If there was ever an argument for the USWNT equality claims, this is it. Those ladies and staff should be paid double what these dweebs are getting.
 
My apologies to Pulisic. He's not a dweeb, he's a VICTIM. Sadly, I think the best thing that could happen would be a Curacao victory so he could grab some vacation before playing with real soccer players later in the summer.

The players we have would be better suited by a more direct style, I think

Agreed. It had me worried about when we play any sort of decent team. And makes sense as to why we had some poor losses in lead to this tourney

This style of play we are trying to implement will win gold cups perhaps, but we will get thrashed by the top teams around the world. Depends on what your expectations are I suppose. Haven't lost faith in Greg yet, but getting nervous

Curacao was surprisingly decent

But still a crap performance by the boys. Only a piece of brilliance by Pulisic kept us away from extra time.

And Zardes is hot garbage. How does he even get looks at a USMNT training camp? Much less actually start in competitive matches... Unreal.
