Well, despite clearly having the refs on their side the whole game, I don't think they are quite as good as Ohio St.
 
ACC Atlantic has won 9 title games in a row

Big Ten East is 6-0

SEC West has won 10 of 11

Pac-12 North is 8-1

Long past time to get rid of divisions
 
Clemson gonna beat OSU, LSU gonna best Clemson.
 
App beats an ACC team and an SEC team, gives 12-1 and ranked #20 and their reward is the New Orleans Bowl against a UAB team that just got the crap kicked out of them by FAU. That must really suck.

If they want better bowl games they need to move to a better conference. That's the nature of college football. The AAC might be a good fit for them eventually.

App fans I work with seem to think that is the plan, but that could be wishful thinking. The American is the only conference I can see as realistic right now.

The AAC is the best G6 by far. They need a new team to replace UConn but they are a conference of programs in mid to large markets like Cincy, Memphis, Houston, Philly, Tampa, and Orlando except for ECU. Boone doesn’t move the needle unless the idea is giving ECU a small market partner in NC.

You’d think perhaps App could replace whichever CUSA team replaces UConn but there’s no obvious CUSA team to move to the AAC.

What gets lost in all this “App to a better conference” crap is that it wouldn’t just be for football. They are miserable at all other sports. They are also not a good academic school.

True. App has to find a conference that wants them and feels it can benefit from their inclusion. Not sure the AAC or C-USA would really raise their profiles much by adding App (not at present anyway).
 
UAB is a 9-win team at least that won their division in their conference and they're going to New Orleans. Could be worse
