Basham, Surratt, Hartman and Kern return

Jamie had a lot to play for last weekend so I doubt that he wasn’t mentally prepared. If Jamie had gone out and gone 25/35 320 yards and 3-4TD with a win, he is probably leaving for the NFL as a 1st or 2nd round pick
 
You know what kind of person gets all hurt about being called a donk? A donk.

Also 22fan is not satisfied with just having some bad takes on this thread. He goes the extra mile and digs deep to put forth his best effort to outshine all other takes on the thread. Kind of like the way Jamie Newman dug deep to deliver a road win at State and earn us a bowl berth.

It is possible to hold these thoughts at the same time:

Being disappointed in his decision
Being thankful for his contributions to the program and the quality of the teams he led
Remembering that he’s actually a good kid and represented the program well and wish him success in the future

Guaranteed his teammates are handling this with a lot more maturity than some of the turd posts here

Oh yeah everyone on the boards was super chill and happy for CP3 when he announced he was entering the draft after the Pittsnogle debacle. Good point y’all.

Newman was awesome last year and through the NC State game this year. During that 11 game period, he was probably the best QB to play at WFU. It’s too bad he played poorly in 3 of the last 4 regular season games, decided to transfer and talked to other schools before the bowl game, and then sucked in the bowl game. Good riddance.

Such grit. It’s like watching Jamie Newman singlehandedly moving the whole pile to pick up a first down on a 3rd and 10 keeper. 22fan just keeps pounding.
 
Let’s paraphrase. For a significant stretch of games he may have been the best QB Wake has ever had but he ruined the afternoon of the second day after Christmas for me by playing poorly in a bowl game that I failed to buy a ticket to attend in person and paid nothing to watch from my couch. GET HIM THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!
