Have y'all heard about that Hawaiian burger joint, Big Kahuna Burger !? I hear they got some tasty burgers. Ain't never had one myself. How are they ?
 
This Welch's boycott has really lost a lot of steam in my household. Can I eat grape jelly again yet ?
 
Shake Shack is probably the best large scale chain burger.

I effing love krystal and will fight anyone who says it's not tremendous. I have stopped at this location too, and my kids housed about 15 burgers. I remember eating there in high school when it was a lot cheaper and we'd get 10 burgers each.
 
But it's so fucking good. And don't sleep on Shake Shack's chicken sammy or nugs.
 
Hardee's/Carl's Jr are fine. Not horrible by any stretch and definitely better than BK.

In-N-Out is great for the price, but overall just OK.

Shake Shack isn't fast food.
 
I like Burger King but it’s probably mostly nostalgia from getting it on road trips as a kid or when we had half days at school.
 
Okay well now that Biff has chastised me I’ll say that I strongly prefer Wendy’s for my fast food drive thru burger needs.

When I was a kid we were definitely lower middle class and would routinely make use of the 5 sandwiches for $5 deal for our family of 4. My brother and I usually had to fight over the last one. Occasionally we would be allowed to have a Jamocha shake which I loved even though I still can’t tell you what the flavor was supposed to be. So I don’t necessarily think Arby’s is the BEST fast food but I def have an affinity for it as a result.
 
A new Cookout just opened like a mile and a half from me. Post Whole 30, I'm gonna crush 2 trays in one sitting. Cookout gets a bad rap for drunk Wake fast food, but it's far better than any of the big chains.
 
They have the meats.

OFY. In college, we would do the 5 for 5 meal where you could mix and match. My go-to was two sandwiches, mozz sticks (they still got these??), potato cakes, and fries. No drink.
 
Say Hey Deac loved him some Krystal man. I think we drove to Elon one time just to get one. I always found both that and WC p nasty. There was a WC around the corner from me in Columbus conveniently on the way back from a neighborhood bar my roommates and I frequented, but I would almost always go for a Hound Dogs 'za with the spicy sauce instead. That sauce was spicy, damn. Good shit though.

yeah we still go occasionally. although it's still weird to me to go inside a Cookout since all the ones around Winston are drive thru only.
