He's Top 200 at his position, in Kentucky !
Is Trey James top 200 overall or top 200 at his position? That is a big difference and I cannot tell from above which is accurate.
He is top 200 at any position not just a top 200 Center.
I’d immediately lower any recruit who chooses to play for Manning.
Here's a kid I've been following that might be of interest to Wake. https://www.indystar.com/story/spor...etball-brilliance-starts-his-head/4650000002/
Luke Brown. Class of 21 I believe.
A little note from the article:
Last summer, at a high school coaching clinic at Noblesville, Jerry Hoover was speaking about shooting and brought Luke for a demonstration: five spots on the floor behind the 3-point arc, 10 shots from each spot. With coaches around the state listening to Hoover and watching Brown in the background, the Blackford sophomore hit 47 of 50. Seriously.
Earlier this season in the Blackford gym, Brown and 6-3 Bruins senior guard Brandon Stroble (14.3 ppg) took turns shooting 3-pointers, 10 at a time, until they had attempted 100.
Luke Brown made 96.
Wow. He must have a long offer list...unless he is 5'5" or so.
He's short, but is supposedly 6'2" now. Mostly mid-majors. Not sure if he lacks athleticism.
From what I have seen of ACC basketball this season there are far more good athletes than there are really good shooters. Obviously a player must be able to get his shot off, but there is a lack of players who are clutch from 3. Last night I believe Duke hit 1 or 2 of about 25.
Good point. I'd like to get a pure shooter in at some point. This kid is also a really slick ball handler. He led Indiana in scoring and assists. I'm drawing a blank on the name, but he's got handles and passing like the kid that went to State and transferred to Butler that was from the Winston area.
He ended up being just a so-so college player, but was still a lot better than what we had at Wake in many cases.

Tyler Lewis.

Wake has had its share of athletes who couldn't shoot over the years.
