"People" didn't become unhinged when Trump "halted all Flights from China". Please provide your direct observations of people becoming unhinged or just admit that you heard people were coming unhinged from your right wing "news" sources and from Trump. Please look outside of our President and those right wing news sources for your understanding of our current situation.
We actually haven't "locked down". If you want to argue anything is stupid, it is that we haven't taken more aggressive action to prevent the spread. We didn't stop travel to and from China in January. Also, the virus was likely already here, as many had already traveled to and from China during January. That's why we need aggressive measures to slow the spread within our borders. The social distancing isn't stupid. We are very likely to soon be overwhelmed in many places and people will die because we do not have the resources to match the demand. Again, stop getting your information from our President and right wing news sources. This is real and those sources are killing people.
This isn't irrational Trump hate. If you can't see that, then I would argue you are irrationally supporting Trump when he has been reckless and impotent in his leadership on this matter.
I don't care if people call this political. It isn't for me, it is people's lives. I'm a physician. We are reorganizing resources to try to meet the impending need as this progresses. My pregnant wife is incredibly afraid of what my coming weeks are going to be like for me and the threats that poses to our family. Much of that risk is the result of poor decisions of others. I'm calling bullshit out wherever I see it as it relates to this pandemic. Your comments are bullshit and dismissing "social distancing" and other measures to slow the spread and severe cases will kill people. Get over your fucking feelings and need to be a fucking victim when people are already dying. This isn't you against the liberals. This is us against a virus that can kill many of us.
Please take the recommendations from the CDC and the actual medical professionals seriously. We are not trying to attack Trump in this, we are trying to attack the spread of a new and deadly virus. If you view comments and recommendations from medical professionals as contradictory to what you are hearing on Fox-like sources or from the President, please at least just take a moment to consider the other perspective and not just reflexively go to your corner. I implore you to take the social distancing seriously. Please to do interact with other people in person unless not doing so would be dangerous. We know that the in-person interactions are potentially dangerous and continue the spread. Just letting it run its course, as some from those same sources have suggested, will really kill many more due to overwhelming potentially life-saving resources.

This is real. Every time you are in the physical space another human is in or has recently been in, you risk continuing the spread. If we get very aggressive, we can make a huge difference in a shorter period of time. Just think of what we could have done if we had been very aggressive immediately rather than the slow half measures. Now think a few months in the future of what you wish we had done now.

However, that doesn't change the fact that in the early USN&WR rankings Wake was the leading regional university in the Southeast. Wake's lead over southeast #2 was much bigger than any other regional #1 over the respective regional #2.

You can’t be a part of the group that is preaching anti-violence, anti-2nd amendment, anti-anything red blooded American and be on here cussing and being violent. It’s against the snowflake code of conduct. Also, I would rather loosen environmental tariffs for the good of the world today than preparing for the end of the world later. Tell your brother Al Gore that we actually made it past his initial D-Day of 2000 and his follow up D-Day of 2010 and we’re still enjoying enjoying the great outdoors everyday!
