Earlier you brought Minnesotans being upset with NY getting more tests. First, MN has 1% of the cases of NY. They also have less than 1% of the deaths and fewer than 1/3 of population of NY.

Why should MN expect to get a disproportionate number of tests and other materials at this point?

Me reporting on what Dr's in a state have said is different than me passing judgement on what was said.

It isn't shocking that medical professionals in any location are frustrated with a lack of materials. Germany and France professionals are complaining the US is buying supplies out from under them. Those are the same nations that refused to send ventilators to Italy a few weeks ago. Oddly one of the things constraining testing worldwide is that the majority of the swabs used to do the tests are made in Lombardy Italy. It's just a fact, one cited repeatedly by governors across the nation - they've had to compete with each other for needed supplies. NY is running thousands and thousands of tests daily. The governor touted they could run over 16,000 a day. Meanwhile Indiana has been able to run a grand total of 16,000 - a state with about 3,500 confirmed cases. Of course Dr's are frustrated.

People then clap on for FEMA to co-ordinate everything, they start doing it and that still makes people upset - like the Gov. of MA who sent a plane to China to pick up facemasks or the Gov. of CT who is mad FEMA is sending ventilators to other parts of the country that he feels are needed in his state first.

You said, "But shitty health is not some American phenomena."

I responded that shitty health care is [an American phenomena] compared to developed countries.

Read it as you would read a conversation.

You said "Shitty healthcare is among developed countries". That's not the same thing as "Shitty health care is compared to developed countries." The first is open to more interpretations than the other.

Sure. Do you agree with what I said or not?

Hannity's whole show was about blaming Cuomo and not Trump for NY tonight

And, of course, he bears no blame.

Fox News is downplaying the coronavirus even though its older audience is more vulnerable to the virus

The few minutes I saw was mocking Biden for now saying he supports the “travel ban”. “Too late now, Joe” Hannity called him incoherent. Right wing media and conservatives are pushing this lie that the democrats all came out against the travel restrictions for China. They are turning that into the fallback identity politics argument. They seem to be conflating the Muslim travel ban from 2017 with the travel restrictions from China announced 1/31/20 that Biden didn’t criticize. Their perspective is the Democrats would have killed many more Americans playing identity politics. Trump saved lives by acting so quickly. He is being for being a leader.

These fuckers.

I should have mentioned that Hannity ended with begging Dr. Oz to plead with the medical community to use much more hydroxychloroquine.

Hannity (and Trump) are proof that you can be an idiot and "successful" at the same time.

Oregon is sending 140 ventilators to New York. That’s very generous for a place that hasn’t had a surge yet.
