I believe it’s a one-off power. It’s a declaration of emergency which establishes a curfew and people violating it do so at their own risk. I don’t know more than that other than my suspicions. It’s also amusing to me because I drafted a declaration of emergency for a municipality I represent and the mayor declared a similar one recently in my actual life.

My specific role is the town mayor. I’m a game premised upon stopping covid - why would implementing social distancing be a hostile power? Admittedly I can’t guarantee what it does. My guess is a benefit is it either prevents hits or stops covid from spreading for a night. Posts to start each day indicate it’s spreading.

Numbers has an early vote on knight who clearly wasn't mafia, he is the dumbass leader of the "free"world (Love you, you're not the dumbass.) and just sits there all rounds. If we really wanna stay on theme, not enacting social distancing earlier was... kind of a problem. I can't shake the feeling that there's some type of maf power that is activated, but I have no way to prove that

the one problem i have with using it now is we don't know how to play it optimally because we dont know what covid does in the game. just a thought. id hold

Never mind I reread.

Curfew can’t be bad for the civs right? I guess worst case nobody gets night actions or if you do use your night action there’s a chance you get the virus or outed?

Lol. This isn’t a fake claim because Jman’s role confirms curfew can be declared. It WILL be declared. So it’s not made up.
You just have to decide if it’s a civ power I guess. Dunno why with no heat as mafia I’d announce it as a power. Regardless, that’s the power and role.

Eagles you should ask how many mafia members were in the stack of players not on JMan or SD3 but only if it was two or more

i mean, if you think eagles is civ, there's no way it is bad for civs. him claiming it now on d3 is civvy so thats where i am at. the question is how do we use it optimally. i wouldve held it but im not eagles. eagles thinks he is dying soon so i get the utility of claiming it d3. prob suboptimal but thats where we're at
