Yeah I agree it was -EV for the reasons that it will leave a focus on SD3 as long as he’s still alive.

A bit on the infection mechanic as well:

Da could infect one person a night by visiting them. That person then would infect anyone they came into contact with at night (incl N0). One time per game he could declare his night visit to be a super-spreader which meant that every vote the super-spreader made the following day would be infected.

Those infected were asymptomatic for one full day (two night cycles) and were informed they had COVID at the end of the 2nd night.

At the end of the third night they were RNG'ed for death (ER Doc mechanism for RNGs)

I think the potential lynch candidates this round are among 03 & redwing. Could be talked into one of BBD, Bernie or parlay less due to specific reads and more to do with not having any reason to think they’re civs so far.

Civ special and 4 mafia. Unfortunately I also had dv7 as a civ and now I’m going to go back and try to remember why. Womp.

No need to fight over that. It was definitely -EV.

If you flip civ and he's civ its basically two mislynches in a row because the town majo's SD3 on the next day. So not only do you have the mislynches but you get zero info and maf can coast for 2 days without providing any info.

I found it. This coupled with the Romanov vote did it in tandem. I remember also there was someone who I thought could be mafia early - sd3 maybe? - who said something like ignore dv7 for now on d1 and when I thought that person was mafia it’s not something you say about a teammate. But then that person didn’t end up being mafia so it should’ve been reassessed.

That late in the game, you never come out and vote on the first post. But, you know, technically I was non-civ, so it wasnt horrible?

Infection data:

On N1 Da infected Gouda. This was an amazing move as it gave 5 people (and materially all of the key town power roles) COVID on N1:
1) Gouda
2) Ph (Cop) investigated Gouda which meant that Ph was infected.
3) TIC (Tracker) tracked Ph and became infected.
4) Numbers (Watcher) watched Ph and became infected.
5) Duff (GF Hunter) investigated TIC and became infected

The RNG was not kind, however, and only Gouda died on N3

On N2, the asymptomatic town power roles then went on a spreading spree:
1) Ph investigated Eagles and gave him COVID
2) Beads (CDC) searched Eagles, Rommy, and Duff for the COVID test, thereby both contracting COVID from Eagles but also passing it to Rommy and Duff
3) Rommy (Maf RB) RB'ed WFU03 which gave him COVID
4) TIC (Tracker) tracked Ryala which gave Ryala COVID

By the end of N2 12 people were infected (Da also visited Parlay to give it to him).

As did BYM - i toyed with giving one of them the Indy role but thought it would be unfair to replace with someone from outside the game as it would put a target on that person unfairly.
