And GAT was right --- Iggles deserves almost all the credit for my play. Digging up that thread definitely motivated me. The Brown Water also gets some credit......sooooo good.

Yeah, then we spend the next day talking about captain townie would or wouldn't do instead of looking at all the switching and pleading at the end of D1.

There’s no secret that I’ve found. Seems like no matter what I do, I spend every day after D1 trying to shake mafia leans.

Of course, when Eaglez wrote meta mafia, there’s a reason he wrote me as a miller.

Yeah there's not a lot to work with. I think best strategy may just be full maf stack on the other but I don't know. Super tough.
 
I don’t want mako or 14 or rommy to beat themselves up

As team leader I didn’t put them in a position to succeed and for that I take accountability. It will happen again, I’m sure of it.

Also trying to squeeze a turd out before a run.

Same here since the reboot.

The only reason I was a cleared civ this game is because the only way any captain would have picked me is if they used the mythical RNG selection process.

I felt like we were The Road Warriors on day 1. You and gooner were awesome. Just a really strong civ game generally. It felt good not to suck for a change.

Yeah my tone is definitely an issue. Bigger issue is what Gouda pointed out with how I respond to too many posts about me. I did it as a vanilla civ too, so it legitimately wasn't because I was maf. I just have been playing that aspect very poorly

You had some stuff after I put my initial "not a big fan of this [from Townie]" that seemed like it might be defending Townie. Luckily I got hit N2 and couldn't explore that line further D3.
 
next time i am mafia, im going to have my whole team stack on me d1. i just cant live as a maf anymore
