Ongoing Dem Debacle Thread: Commander will kill us all

Pressley is unopposed in a safe seat, the rest could absolutely currently use help with endorsements

Gotcha. She should have been omitted from the Squad mention then.

considering a definition of the root word "omit" includes intentional and/or unintentional actions, you could certainly say there were omissions

But not notable. Not yet at least.

At first glance looks like a bunch of candidates in swing-y or red districts. Candace Valenzuela is interesting since she's in a runoff. Ayanna Pressley endorsed her a while back.

A quick look shows that Emily's List endorsed her as well even though she's in a primary runoff against a pro-choice woman.

lol emily's list only endorsed because valenzuela's runoff opponent literally plea bargained out of war profiteering charges

this is a small thing and decidedly not a debacle, but considering Congress only recognized the Armenian genocide back in December, I love that Rashida did this

her district is such a unique view of America, overwhelmingly impoverished, extremely diverse, oft forgotten about in Michigan by the state

It's a particularly beautiful (and powerful) statement given the fact that she's a Palestinian-American woman representing constituents of a country that refuses to recognize her country of descent and will likely never recognize the Nakba.

The what?

What a load of crap! If not for Arafat and Hezbollah, the United States would have created a Palestinian State over twenty years ago. That agreement included full recognition of the Palestinian State, giving back 97% of the land taken in the war the Palestinians started, an international airport, full access to jobs and stores in Israel, guest worker status and much more.

The Palestinians are the reason why there isn't a Palestinian State and why Netanyahu won all those elections and immorally expanded illegal settlements.

No. Still unsettling to hear someone say "palestinians are to blame for their own oppression" so directly. Mask off.
