Ongoing Dem Debacle Thread: Commander will kill us all

That's a lot of mayo. I just checked to see if he had a primary opponent.

How come we accept that Republicans are brutally effective at enacting their agendas and Democrats just can’t possibly get anything done?

Because Dems aren’t brutal and have various agendas.

Also because they’re fighting a long uphill battle against people who are brutal and whose sole agenda is benefiting wealthy white people. That agenda has been in place since 1492 and has been very successful. The fight against that agenda has been sporadically successful for the last 150 years or so.

Dems have been getting things done but it is a much tougher task than it is for Republicans, a homogenous party with a simple focused agenda and history on their side.

A lot of the Republican agenda can be achieved through inaction. And structurally it's a lot easier passing tax cuts then a complete reworking of the American Healthcare System

Good point. It’s easier to say NO than to come up with something that will get enough people to say YES.

“We want government to work and this is how” is inherently a more difficult agenda than “We don’t want government to work.”

The Dem politicians in power, Pelosi especially, have demonstratively shown themselves personally to not support major progressive ideals, so all of their legislative performance is going to graded based on their own admitted conservativism. They don't deserve good faith from progressives because they haven't even asked for it. She compromises before she walks in the room, and that's simply unacceptable.

Sure. Both can be true.

There major reason Mitch the Monster wants to have cities and states go BK is so they can break union contracts. He wants to screw cops, firemen, nurses, trash men and others out of their earnings and benefits. He is truly a bad, bar, bad person. He's sub-human.

warren endorsed a bunch of women downballot, but notably none of The Squad who are in primary challenges

Is it her whole list or is it a partial list like Obama’s first list for 2018?

Warren would at least endorse Pressley.

So there were no notable omissions.
