Threaten fire for-cause, Manning agrees to negotiate his buyout down to avoid a mess + the possibility of $0.

Or you could talk about the fact that for a year I've telling anyone who would listen Goodman's $18M($15M) numbers were bullshit. And it came true.

What Babydeac said was they were firing him for cause which set a goal of $0. Nothing with what Babydeac posted.
 
I heard that Greg Oden and Mike Conley told Matta that Wake Forest is a beautiful campus and he would love Winston Salem
 
I have no idea whether any of this is true (and I dont want to overstate the situation). But, Thad Matta would be the biggest hire in the history of Wake Forest Sports, hands down. Drop the MIC type shit. This would make us nationally instantly relevant again. And JC almost guarantees an added 3-4k season tickets for next year. The Bzz (excuse the expression) would be enormous. Every player in the transfer portal would want to come back (not sure he'd take them). Seems too good to be true honestly.

I’ve sided with you on your report, as you know. I wasn’t questioning BabyDeac, it might have came off as so, but I was trying to say that they both had different reports. Both very well could be accurate. I trust both BabyDeac and KVegas. Was also told something that lines up with big Matta vibes, so BabyDeac is definitely has #sauce.

A lot of posters from the old days have returned over the last few days. Nothing like a coaching search to give us a little hope for the future.BTW, BabyDeac75 is the real deal.
 
I need somebody with energy who will get up in a ref/players ass and have some damn accountability. The exact opposite of the last 10 years. This is why Amaker is a hard NO.

Exactly, it's like when some here couldn't understand how we could afford to pay Beilein a lot of money, but may not want to, but would hire him for less.

I was stunned that so many didn't understand such an easy concept.

I think you missed his point. Slam dunk vs slam dunk that shatters the backboard.

Matta is worth the risk that he is not fired up or still dealing with health issues. If he is wake still gets to the middle of the pack leaving the program far better than he found it for the next coach in a few years. If he is rested and fired up? Wake will once again compete with the big boys.
