Stephen King Mafia - Civs Stage Comeback for W

No I'm talking about you saying I was maf/indy because I said "the civs" and all that stuff about chatzys not being a civ mechanic

I mean I think it can be a tell for some people. When I said that I thought you legit might've been the indy and was trying to get you lynched to help resolve the Da issue.

My mafia powers were so lame. I wanted to use them early on in case I died, but also didn't really want to risk getting watched/tracked.

Also, what are the odds I am framing somebody on the same night that a cop investigates? V low.

And what are the odds you frame a Miller?

Was her killing parlay to make JTP look like vamp calculated or a happy bonus?

I wasn't in chat for that, but eagles has the maf 1 chat saved during that time, I think, or at least dead chat knew what happened.

I also legit don't think having a chat room is a civ mechanic lol.

We thought you were the indy and could accrue the powers of everybody you invited into your room each day.

That Da role is the best role I've ever seen in a mafia game ever. In both maf chats but his hits fail if used?

WHO FUCKING THINKS OF THAT? just genius.

Eagles and I started the genesis of that idea like 100 years ago when I first started playing. We were trying to workshop different ideas and we wanted one where someone had access to mafia chat but wasn't mafia. He obviously put in the work to make it viable, and he has used it a few times over the years. Da played it very well. We never suspected anything. But we also never tried to use him for a hit.

Well the chatzy wasn’t any mechanic to be honest

I still don't know if it had any real value other than a place for me to spout off random theories and see if they seemed legit or not

haha right - it seems like what you were saying was a partial claim, but not the whole claim.

Can I ask a question of mafia 2 - why would you hit with Da to "get intel" instead of actually killing people?

Was it to then get street cred for lynches? Cause I'm not sure how that's better than actually killing non-teammates (coincidentally your win condition). And you get to see their actual role reveals if they die?

We assumed that the other indys would be killing folks and, yes, knight used 3 of his investigations to set up the fake cop. I used one for mine as well. He was supposed to be able to kill other than Mafia 1, according to him, so we thought we were getting really lucky. The ryala thing was strange, as was him not being silenced when he hit jtp. The last hit came down to everyone agreeing doofus shouldn't hit because of his position in the game. 03 didn't want to hit fearing a powerful indy and, although he didn't admit it, he wanted to live. Da also very much didn't want to hit, also claiming to fear being killed. That's when bells starting to go off for me. Of course, the timing wasn't great as my kid was getting released and I was about to be behind the wheel. I said to bus Da. They asked why and knight said fuck no. I then tried to dictate while driving. The explanation had a few typos thanks to my shitty phone but it didn't matter. The fact that we kept "hitting" on mafia should have set off bells. Da had no choice but to feed them for cred. To his credit, the only one he didn't feed us was GM.

As for faking silencing, gm did actually bite jtp. We just forgot about the silencing effect at the time. We were also debating on biting Da instead, but that didn't end up happening.

Townie said he faked being silenced for three rounds straight during the majo run, and I think that is pretty shitty, but they were very short rounds.

I had knight as mafia cop pretty early on, but there was obviously nothing we could do about it until we cleared out TIC. Then he missed on pH anyway.

Also, props to Gooner for putting in the work to go back and read and bring info to the town on the last couple days. Great effort (even if it does costs you your wedding).

Marriage is temporary but mafia wins are forever

I mean we could've killed Gooner last night instead of Numbers.

We used Da to hit almost every single time because he told us his role was "if I hit other mafia then my hit fails", so we just thought we had hit other mafia (which we actually did because we made god mode reads).

I think the big mistake was not killing goon when you killed bym. Gooner obviously has nothing better to do as he spent time quoting himself as well as others

Is this late week mafia game by Ph the most Ph thing ever or naaah?

Sorry, I gave Townie 50 minutes to respond to his Captain PM and he didn't respond even though he's posting here. Townie is out of the game and I'm sending it out to someone else.

I honestly thought Townie wanted to play. He was the first one to sign up. Dick move, but whatever.

I legit sent in the order to kill Gooner with Da without his approval - Just @'d eagles and said "Da is hitting Gooner".

Didn't really work out for us other than figuring out Da was probably bad.

Great job, Goober.

Eagles, awesome game. That was a ton of fun. Didn't think we had a chance. That was incredible to read.

i have given out too much rep but thx bby

looooooool, early on I wanted to go with people I had civ leans for, then Knight claimed so I went for him, then from there it was just about who I thought would be alive and who I could get reactions out of

I had a whole claim planned out for being in chatzy with you, because duh, you're gonna pick me. You took that from me. I was gonna be a 1 shot cop that could only look for people in whatever the clown's name is mafia with my fake role, and I was planning to investigate JTP. I wanted a super secret code so you'd know if I hit on the investigation or not. It would have been fun and you blew it.

mafia 2 tried to use Da to hit redwing, damo, jtp & gooner with all failing.

PhDeac investigated Da on n4 only to be roleblocked the one and only time redwing used his roleblock.

The night before Ph dies was the damo maj round - I waited 40 mins till 2:45 to start the next day after picking a time in deadchat to open the thread. Ph submits Da as his investigation 3 minutes into the day so Da got to live then Ph was majo'd.

Da decided against using his vig on Gooner the night before Da died. Mafia 2 had started suspecting Da was bad when he wasn't silenced once JTP's role was revealed.

Knight never investigated damo or redwing, he investigated GAt n1, ryala n3 & townie n5.

Great game, great design, thank you.
