Ok, think I dodged the mom trip bullet at least this weekend. Aunt stepped up and told her to chill. The mom's getting a little antsy, just a year into retirement, too, and maybe just having trouble adjusting. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt a little. Happy to revisit in a month and to even consider a 12+ hour roadie with her as a sign of good faith. The things we do for fam.
 
If this pandemic has taught me anything, it’s that otherwise very successful people are complete idiots with technology.

What blender? I think ours is 10+ years old and barely hanging on so time to replace.
 
i like that blenders range from $20 to $2000
 
Vitamix 5300 from Sam's Club... We have access to Costco & Sam's Club and it was cheaper at Sam's Club.

We are in the midst of putting on a big conference right now... All done virtually. It is absolutely hilarious to watch the CEOs of prominent public companies try to navigate a simple webcam... Not to mention the dogs and wives and children... Or just where they are sitting at home while talking w/ like 400+ investors.
 
just had a call with my team and one guy had his fiance wearing a bikini walk behind him on her way outside to the lake
 
i'm not a total moron but a few weeks ago forgot i was on a video call and got busted a knuckle deep in my nose
 
Came in second in an online Trivia Contest last night. Won a 4-pack of NoDa Hop Drop & Roll that I'm enjoying now.
 
Has anyone managed to make crispy sweet potato fries in the oven? Mine are always pretty soggy. Can fry them and make em tasty though. Still never as good as with potatoes.

Have been making very good sweet potato fritters though.
 
Yeah, we tried to do that in the oven with fresh sweet potatoes and eventually gave up on the scheme. We now have an instapot/air fryer that makes bomb-ass fries.
