Totally Unofficial 2019/2020 Premier League Thread (NWT)

I'm sure he just shaved that part for smooth header contact. Maybe he and Ronaldo can combine hairlines.

Rumor now is that Liverpool is going to sell Shaq, Harry Wilson and Grujic to raise money to buy Werner. I was half hoping Grujic would get another chance but if he has to go to make way for Werner then so be it.
 
I don’t see Grujic being any more than a cup player or late game sub at this point. I’ve watched Harry quite a few times. Very skilled, but I think he lacks the pace of where he wants to play and could easily start for most clubs outside of the top 6. Still think that leaves us short of Werner given the climate.
 
And the Lovren rumors seem absurd. Lovren is the consummate teammate. Confident, but isn’t going to complain or sulk. Every play through quarantine seems to address him and his jokes during the yoga and zoom sessions. If I had to imagine he’s a guy that jokes through stretching and absolutely gets after it and calls players out as soon as training starts.
 
Harry Wilson reminds me of Sigurdsson or Ward Prowse in that you’d mostly be paying for his set piece ability rather than open play creation.
 
Eh, he almost left last summer for playing time, and he's slipped further down the pecking order this season. I bet he leaves.

Looks like we're starting back on June 17th, with the two games in hand to be played first. If City lose to Arsenal on the 17th, Liverpool would be able to wrap up the title in their first match on the 20th (speculated likely date) v Everton.

Macca at 1 is a steal. As is Teddy.
Including Lauren at all is stupid. He sucked.
 
Kieron Dyer on there at all seems kind of out of place to me. Agree that Macca at 1 is probably the most undervalued on the list.

I happy to see it but I think it there are going to be lots of players holding out and/or not giving 100%... I can only imagine what would happen if most a squad gets sick.... Liverpool and Man City could lose 6 starters and not really miss a beat. 6 players out on Norwich and they are toast....
