2020 Presidential Election: Biden v. Trump

so every time a player is removed from a soccer match the player leaving the pitch is labeled with a National Socialist symbol; seems a little harsh but good work anyway Facebook; be sure to tell UEFA asap

maybe they can tackle Heineken ads next

What are you?...pro fascist or something?

The latest Fox News poll (and it has a high rating for accuracy) is out. It shows Biden's lead over Trump growing from 8 to 12 points (50% to 38%). Biden leads Trump by 79 points among black voters, 37 points in voters under 30, 22 points among suburban voters, 19 points among female voters, and even 10 points among voters over 65. Trump's advantages in two of his key base groups have also declined. He leads Biden among Evangelicals by 41 points, but won Evangelicals by 64 points in 2016. He won rural voters by 27 points in 2016, but currently has just a 9-point lead. I wonder how long it will be before Trump starts rage-tweeting about this poll and complains that Fox isn't in his corner anymore? Maybe he'll threaten to sue them like he did CNN.

Trump set up an overflow area that could have accommodated 20,000+ for his event. He was supposed to give a quick speech before entering the arena. I'd say there are less than 200 people in the outdoor area.

The BOK arena's upper deck looks like the upper deck of a Wake bball game under DFL.

Not quite the 1,000,000 people who RSVPed or even the 100,000 he was promoting yesterday would attend. I'd guess there are less than 12,000 in a 19,000 seat venue.

He's got to be totally pissed. I wonder if he's blaming BLM. Biden? Me?

A woman, who had a ticket, was denied entrance for wearing a T-shirt that says "I can't breathe".

He started his perp... uh pep... rally speech on time. Apparently he normally starts pretty late to build suspense.

He also said, "they are tearing down our statues!"

I know people do it because he is a vain motherfucker and it gets under his skin, but it's pretty ableist to make fun of somebody for walking slowly down a ramp. On the long list of reasons he isn't qualified to be the President, this doesn't even make the top 1000. There are plenty of people who would make better Presidents than Trump who would not be able to walk down that ramp at all.

I think you have to be careful with stuff likes this. You don’t want to do things to mock him that are hurtful to innocent people. I viewed this more as mocking his explanation of it rather than his difficulty navigating the ramp. I don’t think anybody cares if he doesn’t make a big deal of it.

I do think the majority of it has been his reaction and need to justify himself instead of the actual circumstances themselves. I didn't think there was anything out of the ordinary on him walking down that ramp and taking a couple quick steps at the end. But him coming back and describing it as a heroic ordeal is what makes it a big deal.

but he made up his dumb explanation because people on twitter and cable news mocked him for walking down the ramp slowly. His physical limitations don't have anything to do with being President, and hammering them on twitter just to get under his skin is demeaning to lots of good people who also have physical limitations.

He hammers everyone for physical problems whether they are real or not. He keeps telling the world how perfect he is. He's asking for it.

He is rightly chastised for making fun of peoples physical problems. Why would you do exactly the same thing?

Remove trump and I agree. However, you can't separate trump from his hubris. His "jenius" intellect declarations. He makes jokes during his pep rally's exclusively at the expense of other people. Remember the disabled person he mocked from the stage? Gold star families? He has earned the full wraith directed at him. If he had any self awareness or gravitas this would not be happening. I f9r one love that he is probably making the White House uninhabitable today for everyone there. Sucks for the staff but glad his shitty family has had to avoid him or put on their knee pads to help sooth his fragile ego.
