The big fear is that Biden can barely put two sentences together without saying something stupid and/or that makes no sense. As a friend and fellow poster (who dislikes Trump) said, the Dems are trying to prop Biden up Weekend at Bernie‘s style. He could be awful in a debate. Then again, Trump could easily come across as an abusive dickhead and turn off some undecideds, if there are any left who would be surprised by that behavior. Biden really needs to make a solid VP nod.
 
Biden does events daily. Media reports so called gaffes to appear unbiased.

I see what you're saying, but it continues to blow my mind that Trump is long past the point of being unable to string two coherent sentences together, and he says or tweets stupid things pretty much every hour. Trump already is brain-dead, and has been for years. The double standard is ridiculous - Biden makes a single gaffe and pretty much every Republican and media outlet (including some so-called liberal outlets) says he's got dementia and can't possibly serve, yet Trump says literally insane stuff pretty much every day and most people just shrug. I really don't know how you combat it. I've read that one reason Trump keeps pushing for more debates is that they hope Biden will stumble and make a gaffe that they and right-wing media can play up. No doubt.

Biden has participated in 11 debates since 2019. He will be fine. Right wing talking points amplified by bitter left wingers still trying to rationalize why Bernie should be the nominee.

The idea that Trump is more coherent than Biden is so laughable it's almost beyond comprehension, but Americans are generally dumb as fuck lemmings, so let's just go ahead and fall off the cliff.

Fox & other news media: "BIDEN SAYS NEW YORK IS ON THE WEST COAST. IS HE SENILE? DEMOCRATS IN CRISIS - SHOULD BIDEN BE DUMPED AND A NEW CANDIDATE FOUND? In other news, Trump exceeds debate expectations by not drooling on his microphone and wetting his pants. Is this the start of his comeback in the polls?"

A pretty broad and very accurate brush. The vast majority of Americans have absolutely no concept of the extent of American imperialism. No knowledge of the specifics. How can they regret what they don’t even know.

How? You're asking me why I misquoted someone, which implies I did it on purpose. I dont think substituting crack for cocaine in that statement changes how ridiculous or offensive it is.
