Totally Unofficial 2019/2020 Premier League Thread (NWT)

While Brasky is busy fixing his tin foil hat (two stone cold penalties) I'm more distressed about this table:

I hate the Glazers so much it burns.

It-it- the fl- flam - flames. Flames, on the side of my face, breathing, breathl... heaving breaths. Heaving....

Yeah, when you consider that they haven't closed the deal on Sancho because they won't meet Dortmund's purchase price, it has to be pretty maddening.

Based on the new rule the first handball shouldn’t have been a penalty (which is ludicrous but yeah). Second one was super obvious.

and apparently haggling over like 10 mil Euros. its fucking ludicrous

Peacock is annoying and now they're putting all the better matches on it. If you have to pay, why can't you just watch all the matches, pregame, etc on it? Switching between YTTV and PeacockTV just to watch two games and commentary?

Seriously not a fan myself. It's all to force amazon and roku to bring their app to the masses. Soon as that happens, i bet they shift the bigger matches back to NBC/NBCSN.

Ah, hadn't heard that angle. I'm about to return an LG tv because ESPN for whatever reason (money, I'm sure) hasn't given them permission to the ESPN+ app, so I have to cast it instead.

Whoops I was late on the fantasy and will be joining week 2. I'm currently sitting on a VERY STRONG 25 points and will absolutely be adding that to my week 2-38 total if in contention for the title*

*I'll forget to log in starting week 4 so this post is irrelevant

Raul is so damn good. I legit fear him playing up top for Mexico vs. the US...unlike Chicharita

115 in 348 senior club games for Jimenez (1 goal every 3.0 matches)
156 in 426 senior club games for Chicharito (1 goal every 2.7 matches)

Raul with 0 in 255 vs. the US, notching 2 assists.

But his recent form is simply outstanding. He will tear CONCACAF up this cycle.
