I can't imagine having either of our parents living here long term. With the newborn, my wife on maternity leave and me teaching virtually until December its already congested in our house. My wife actually asked me yesterday if I'd like to just go away for a weekend, she can tell that its getting to me. I've always been big about having alone time (running and triathlon training a big part of that) and I was up front about needing that when we first moved in together. Now of course I have nowhere I want to go that would be safe right now, so while I appreciate the offer I'm not going to take her up on it. I really need to just get outside more, but with no races or goals to train for its hard to stay motivated longer than a week.

in my area it looks like you can get a small AWD vehicle like a Forester for less than $10k that are 5-6 yrs old.

I sign a lot of things for people within my company because I'm an officer of like 380 entities and I'm generally easy to get in touch with and am willing to sign. But dis dude just sent me something that needs to be notarized too and my notary won't back in the office until November 5, so I said I'd take care of it then, and he told me that I should just go to a bank and do it. Lol, fuck you buddy. Looks like my notary is gonna be sick that day and she's not on the schedule again for a couple of weeks after that.

I also need my alone time which has led to me staying up too late every night.

Our garage gym is now set up and we got a Peloton delivered today so that should help with using my time alone productively.

Go on the At for a week, Brasky. Recharge your batteries. It’s the perfect time of year.

Still alive. Wife and baby have it. Doesn’t seem to be affecting baby aside from minor fever. Wife has similar symptoms to me. I still can’t taste anything, am congested and have a headache. Also staying exhausted.

After reading guitardeacs experience, I’m considering us some of the lucky ones. Stay safe out there guys. This hoax will fuck ya worlds up.

glad you're healing up.

I’m allowed to go back two days a week but haven’t yet. I’m going in on Thursday just to get some peace and quiet and get some work done.

Hoping that moving forward my wife and I will each get one day in the office.

We're already giving up office space in certain offices. Every business unit in Chicago has to reduce their footprint by 25%, so they've been canvasing people to see if they want to work completely remote, 2-3 days a week (in which case they would have to share desk/office space and coordinate with someone else who has the opposite schedule), or a full 5 days a week. They haven't asked my office that yet, but I'm not sure how I would answer. I don't really care about sharing an office, especially if I start travelling like I used to, so I think I would probably say 2 or 3 days a week.

We are likely reducing our space in charlotte. Upside: more profits for us to share; downside: i lose my sweet corner office. #notsohumblebrag

Between fall allergies and perpetual soreness from lifting I convince myself I have Covid daily.

Travelling notary bruh?

blue, you are for real one of my favorite posters, but sometimes I'm wondering what's going through your head when you say very obvious things as new information

Anybody who complains about too much communication and wanting to "run over his phone" apparently is in need of remedial training on fundamentals of operating electronic devices. Just an extension of the DIY thread.

Welp, wife got the health department letter and call today. I did not. Does that mean it’s ok for me to go on about my normal business. To be safe, I should probably leave the kids with her to quarantine, right?
