He had two chances and scored one. I’ll take a 50% striker any day. I love the fluid front three Liverpool has but it’s easy to miss the Torres/peak Sturridge “give me the ball here and I’ll probably score”.

I mean he missed wildly because he’s a spastic fuck but it’s not like Pickford took VVD out intentionally. He was trying to make a play on the ball.

Tough break for VVD, but it’s not like y’all weren’t due for some sort of long term injury. Your star players have been juiced up and playing 3 games/week for 2.5 years at a break neck pace. The injuries are coming, it’s how PEDs work.

Is Pogba the new Ozil? Loads of talent and just can't find a way to use it consistently? I can't think of a less influential player as compared to their ability.
