This is the first argument in favor of the EC that makes sense.
 
Geez Junior, wtf made you a constitutional scholar? Do you really think that current red states give two shits if blue states ratify this? This effort has been going on since 2008 and only 14 states have ratified it.

More importantly, if this legislation was enacted by all the states who's popular vote favored Clinton, would it have changed the election result?

The answer is NO, shit head. The states that voted for Dump would still have carried the election, even though the National popular vote favored Hillary. Could happen again in 2020.

The only was to ensure a popular vote Presidential election is to change the Constitution.

Try taking your rants on someone less intelligent than you though that may be hard to find.

The trump administrations position on this issue is, unsurprisingly, hateful, stupid, and bad for our country. Forget about districts. Don’t we want to know where people live so funding is appropriately budgeted? No. Guess not.

Good news is the Biden Administration will make this issue moot.

It’s a deliberate strategy and Democrats have to call them out and counter that strategy in the legislatures and the courts.
 
It’s because even the republicans know that their goals, policies, and driving political philosophy is deeply unpopular. It’s not a well maybe we are presenting it wrong, maybe it’s about branding, maybe it’s too complex. No, they know exactly what it is and it’s shitty for everyone but a few people and groups.
