What a nice win! Nick was awesome and the entire team played well - all aspects. Punt was a beauty! Great feeling seeing (thank you buff) the 2nd half after going crazy that the game was blacked out during COVID.
 
That feels like such a big win. Defense has been night and day since the NC State game, and we didn’t even have Tyler Williams, Nasir Greer, or Coby Davis today. Awesome game.
 
nation's leading rusher had 24 yards on one run and 40 on his other 13. from a defense that looked absolutely DOA a few weeks ago.
 
The ending of that game is a lot scarier if Fuente had any idea what clock management even means.

In the first half, Hartman was speared by Diablo, had his face mask ripped off twice and lot of other no call penalties that stopped our drives. I assume ACC office called the Refs at half time and told them to start calling penalties. Watching the Refs not call penalties against Clemson and UVA and attempting to kill our QB today. Bravo Zebras, Bravo!!! Nice to have the Refs engage in a 1/2 of football!
 
Man, the defense and defensive staff balled today, didn’t know they had that in them!
 
Had to listen to Stan due to blackout. Exciting game. Somebody needs to find some money for a Nick Andersen scholarship tonight. He has earned it.
 
Has anyone mentioned yet that Nick Andersen is a Freshman Walkon? Because he is.

His parents are paying 50k for 3 ints tonight.
 
That was a fun game to watch. From one Va Deac to another, Nick Andersen you're a baller!
 
Funny thing is, Andersen will still be a true freshman next year. Just with a scholarship in hand
 
Made history tdy....1st time in our history to be 5 games in and have 0 INTs surrendered! D Is limited but played well and good game plan. Held a 300+ yds rushing team (led nation!) to 210!
 
With Andersen Qbing the D we have given up only 1 TD in the last 6 quarters. Calling the defense from that safety spot is an unsung but very important cog.
 
Gotta love Boogie. Stab hits him with the you have a down Syracuse next week and Boog quickly says we are going up there to play whether they are down or not look at last year they were down. We owe them. Man we are going to miss that kid
 
That was very satisfying for all of us - especially for those of us who are surrounded by Hokie fans.

Most of my direct reports were VT alums. For them, I say "adequate"
