We look like the Everton of old. Slow build up, no defensive intensity and lacking directness. I blame Iwobi and Gylfi, who are both starting their first PL and have clearly unbalanced our squad. Oh and Ben Godfrey is not a RB.

Also shoutout to Soton who would play a beautiful system of football. If I wasn’t so pissed at Everton I’d had enjoyed that first half from the Saints. The “Red Bull” way is great.

Review a correct call? That’s not really the point of VAR but carry on.

It’s important to remember that Liverpool fans are generally knuckle draggers who were lucky to survive their mom’s womb.

Digne pulled up before KWP stopped and their feet got tangled. Nothing violent or dangerous about his actions.

If we had to lose I’m glad it was to this lot. I ride with Leeds and Soton when Everton aren’t involved. The rest of your teams can get fucked.

Hopefully Gylfi and Iwobi get thrown in the trash bin. Rather play Gordon and anyone else.
 
VAR is a shitshow. But the procedure would be the VAR official in the smoky dark room in London reviewed the decision and didn’t see a clear and obvious error in giving the red. Without getting over the hurdle of seeing that, the VAR official doesn’t initiate a VAR review by the game official. In theory that’s how it should work.
 
Lol that was a clear red card. Digne stomped on another players heel from behind making no attempt to play the ball.

100% a sending off. This isn't even debatable by any logical standards.
