The 2020-21 College Football Thread: Alabama Unleashes Bold Familiar Flavor on CFB !!

Dan Mullen is batshit crazy and a caricature of the hard-nosed, ultra-competitive old school football coach that has mostly become a relic (probably deservedly).

Having said that, he's also very good at his job and will likely keep Florida in the hunt for SEC & National Championships for as long as he doesn't cross a line that gets him fired.

He’s also very good with the fans.

We saw him tailgating at the Garth Brooks concert at The Swamp a few years ago and some of my friends talked to him for a bit and said he couldn’t have been a nicer guy.

I’m a big Northwestern fan today. Would love for them to beat OSU.

Northwestern is really shooting themselves in the foot. You can only keep O$U back for so long.

Probably. But if Clemson comes out after halftime and scores a TD to go up 31-3, they should start to worry. At that point they wouldn't really have any better resume than Texas A&M.

But will be prison raped by Bama

Yes and yes

The committee really should realize that ND doesn't beat Clemson earlier this year if Clemson was full strength. They really shouldn't put a team in the playoff that is so being badly out classed by another playoff team just 2 weeks before the playoffs, unless there are no other reasonable other options. Heck, I'd much see Cincy get a shot if they look good against Tulsa tonight.

If Clemson continues to dominate ND, then I think A&M jumps them to the #4 spot.

Don’t think it will happen, but would be fun if Florida beat Bama. Then there would be a bunch of good 1-loss teams. Which ones get in?

Yeah. What’s the point of a four team playoff if a team can get in after losing to a team in the four team playoff?

I'll remind you that A&M already lost to Alabama in a game that was never really close.

It just appears that Clemson and Alabama are on a collision course.
