Does anyone think I'm closed minded for thinking the whole pronoun thing is super lame and hella annoying?
 
What part of it to you find lame and annoying?

Yes, sorta.

If you accidentally call someone the wrong pronoun and are unintentionally insensitive, I don't it is a big deal. Just try and be better, or just use other language that avoids putting you in that situation. It is difficult and confusing for some people.

Now if you intentionally use the wrong pronouns and do it in an antagonizing and attention grabbing way, then I think you should be nailed to a cross alongside the side of the road like the garbage human you are. You are and will never be more than a drain on society, and you and your Qanon MAGAt flock need to be cleansed from their Earth. Hopefully your god and diabetes will do it, but if not it is time for the rest of us to get our hands a little dirty.
 
Also I'm a 34 year HS teacher with a masters in education and I truly do not understand the different parts of speech.

I mean I could tell you what a noun, verb and adjective are, but after that I really have to think about it.

Like am a really sure what an adverb is? No.
 
I also have nearly 30 published articles in the Winston Salem Journal and was an editor of my high school newspaper

I'm like an athlete with a college degree that could secretly never read

Just nobody ever made me learn
 
Or they did for a test/quiz but then I forgot it the next day

Thank god I teach history. I think I'm a pretty decent editor of written responses, but I will never tell to use more or less prepositions, because I don't actually know what they are.
 
If somebody tells me his or her or their pronouns, I’ll use them.

Live your life.
 
Well since I'm already committed and we're on the topic, where do you think American bigotry is in 2050?

Does it win? Are we Russia?

Does it slowly go away with generational change?

Or is it bubbling under the surface, looking for new ways to burst out like today?
