yeah, since we were leaving digg alive and we couldn't rb him again, didn't want to risk getting seen with a luckbox attempt

i did say in chat that i would've rb'd mako, and digg ended up watching mako, so that ended up being a wash for us
 
I was on the fucking road dude...like driving down 40... I told y'all in chatzy. I then switched to blue while merging laned when y'all said to switch to blue... I thought I was clear to focus on the road for a few min. I obviously didn't want to kill gouda

When Townie was almost voted out D1, he claimed vanilla. It’s entirely possible that he slow plays being a town special there, but highly unlikely. So for him to be cop (and thus a night hit candidate), you’d have to think he fake claimed vanilla and then came out firing and keeping attention on himself from that point on. It’s just an incredibly unlikely scenario which is why RSF got upset (amongst potential anger issues and/or psychosocial deficiencies) that you kept badgering the chat to kill Townie. It’s a bad play by the math and most times, mafia boils down to math. Who can fit into the most slots, who has been eliminated from potentially being X, etc.

fair enough, this explanation makes more sense than what I could piece together in game. I probably just would have killed diggler there and sent out a prayer at roleblocking the cop, but if you'd correctly killed the cop there you're better off long term

I was around for all of the actions, but let RSF decide most of them. He did want to kill mako at one point but wasn't around so I think creamy chose someone else. I never had any special reads other than catamount

All that being said and despite what RSF may say in postgame, I thought you played really well for your first time as mafia. You almost got in a tough spot but you got yourself out of it. And your night move instincts outside of the Townie stuff were pretty good. I hope you keep playing.

Also Cata and Diggler both played extremely well too in their second games. Diggler with a phenomenal special performance in his second game brings back memories of D14’s debut games.

to be fair, you only saw the back end of the chatzy

i didn't say shit for the first 5 days of gametime, though creamy got very upset with me for something i posted in thread i think

As much as I enjoy modding, last night’s banter session was very difficult to peruse and not participate in
 
I thought Diggler played like someone that already understands the game pretty well, which was cool to see.

Townie and mako both had great games too I thought. Townie did a good job toeing the line between seeming like a safe civ and potentially being a civ special worthy of a night hit IMO.

I hate how much sense Ryala's logic usually makes to me, because I always want to blindly follow it but am really wary of doing that and then get stuck
