I always forget about the AVL boards bros. Mainly because I'm always up here for work and just squeeze in a little play play while I can. I'm here once or twice a month, so I'll shoot you a message next time I know I'm coming up.

Still wanna kick it with Barca too.

Yeah man. You know where to find me now!

Well thought out response.

If I came on here and made disparaging generalizations about a group of people based on their ethnicity, race, gender, or sexual orientation, some of you would go nuts. In fact, were I to do it often enough, I’d get banned. But it’s perfectly fine to make lazy assumptions about someone based on their age.

BTW, you’re right. I am a boomer. But I would never say, “…this may sound retarded…” I guess that makes me the only person born between 1946 and 1964 who wouldn’t say that or who wouldn’t listen to reasoned criticism had I said it.

Your generation strip mined this country for all it’s worth, ran capitalism to it’s logical end and made out like fucking bandits. I think you can take a few jokes at your expense

I've convinced myself to drink beer until I'm hungry enough and then *maybe* go to Taco Billy.

Yes - in group sites at Gros Ventre. Heading home tomorrow. Just watched a shootout in Jackson and going to the RODEO now.
Oh shit, I was kinda kidding but I posted that while we were driving through the big campsite in Gros Ventre looking for moose! It must have been y'all! What are the odds.

My bro-in-law and I did a kind of sketchy hike straight up one of the mountains and ended up at this amazing, hidden mountain lake. It was rough going and we might have gotten stuck up there if we were slightly less daring. Asked a ranger later about the lake because it isn't labeled on any maps and she told us it was a secret because they didn't want people going up there bc of the difficulty of the climb, prevalence of grizzlies, and the "Facebook-culture" that would ruin the wilderness. Pretty incredible. There were a bunch of caves, animal dens, and creepy animal footprints at the summit so we were hiking around the lake duel-wielding bearspray
