Maybe he was talking to me. You certainly can’t learn to camp better from a bunch of teenagers.

plama has the Billie Eyelash news not hit Yahoo or what

Damn no idea how I missed this. Yes that was definitely us and that’s crazy! There was a pair of moose that live in the river behind where we camped, and one morning one of them wandered through our campsite around 5am just as we were getting up.

That hike sounds great. We hiked up Death Canyon and the tiny pond the views were spectacular. Wanted to hike Disappointment Peak but the rangers told us there was too much snow up there.

The rodeo was great. I would go to a rodeo again anytime. The “shootout” was cheesy but funny. Staged every night in the street on the square in Jackson. Kids liked it; I don’t need to see it again.

We were off bright and early to glacier or otherwise I would have popped by to say hello. Moose in camp sounds amazing! Yeah, shootout probably a bit cheesy for a group of adults, but the rodeo would have been sweet. (I still enjoyed a lunch in cheesy deadwood).

Two days at tetons wasn't enough, so I'm sure we'll be back.

did you see that there's some irish guy lost/dead up there? Went to hike up to Surprise Lake about 2 weeks ago and hasn't been seen since.

Yes! It was creepy: we saw one set of footprints going up our crazy, backcountry trail and none coming down. When we were up there we couldn't find another way down and were convinced for a bit that he got eaten up there.

Ended up having to descend the same way we went up

Can we talk about our favorite gimmick college football offense?

While the Spread was clearly the most successful, the Air Raid the most fun to watch, and the RPO being the most near and dear to our hearts, I am a sucker for the Fun and Gun. Not just because of the name, but because also it didn't matter who played quarterback.

I like watching a good triple option every now and again

would suck for it to be your team's base O though

You say that until you are watching Army vs. Navy and wish another game was also on because its super boring and wish someone would throw a pass. The option is great when its used like Urban Meyer at Florida with Percy Harvin and Tim Tebow, thats exciting. Triple option offenses never have guys like Pat White and Steve Slaton in the backfield.
