Airbnbs for one night are stupid. Oh the place is only $85/night? That’ll be $200+ after an outrageous cleaning & service fee.

kinda feels like most of these billionaires aren't even going to space tho

like (laika and gagarin aside) it feels like you gotta make at least one orbit to really say you went into space now

lol yeah one of the Richard Branson articles was like "went to the edge of space"

ok

good afternoon rise-n-grinders

just finished praying (secular) to my Bezos statue and about to dive back into one of my 4 freelance gigs

already logged a few hours this AM of data entry after I chugged my bulletproof coffee

stay productive!

Fuck NASA ! Build high speed rail.

I have to travel for work for the first time this September up to DC. I looked in to taking a train instead of flying (carbon foot print!) and it would take an estimated 14 hours over night from north Florida to Union Station. That doesn't include driving 1.5 hours to get to the train station and then an hour of taxi's and metros on the other end. Driving door to door would take 12 hours total.

I've heard one big challenge with nationwide rail is how much land is protected, preventing direct rail routes -- can't cite a source or anything though

seems like a solvable problem to me

At least Bezos strapped into a legit rocket, that Branson “space flight” was weak AF. That said, SpaceX is so far ahead of both that it’s kind of hard to take either seriously.

Bezos was strapped to a giant dildo

High Life was the best 40, but felt like cheating because it was beer vs. malt liquor. OE > Colt 45.

Yeah. Same way we’ve solved the problem before. Genocide and forking Native Americans off their land. Then there’s the issue that construction projects on and near reservations are associated with the rape, disappearance, and murder of Native women.

Ok so the Tough Mudder was light work compared to 9 hours in the magic kingdom in July.
