his dad Marcellus had a stellar collegiate career @ Bradley & played overseas for over a decade. He was also part of Bradley's alumni TBT team this summer & hit a first round game winner.
 
Do these official visits mean the staff thinks these guys are likely to commit?
 
I think we may have a chance with this Matis kid. I think he's from Eastern Europe as is our strength coach, IIRC. He said relationships and developmental facilities are important to him. He specifically praised the facilities and his relationship with Antanas Kavaliauskas in his post-visit remarks.

We’ve also had a number of really good players from Eastern Europe over the years.

Not getting a kid that we got hype pics of in the grey uniform. Not happening. The demon deacon is not grey. Grey isn't a brand. No one loves grey unis. Well, I guess a few of us around these parts do...
