Woah. I just sewed my lodge flap on my pocket. WWW

the weekend of my Ordeal i also had a soccer tournament

i figured i was going to be pretty exhausted, but it was literally the best i ever played in my life, had 6 goals in three games and we won the tournament

one of the high points of my young life to that point, the two things back to back gave me a lot of confidence.

JFC...Stop making me feel like an idiot with all the nonsense math mumbo jumbo. Time to get back to things that matter.

If we have a big boards party are we going to hire a hooker or just bring Mako's mom to let TK rawdog for the first time?

I still have my OA flap from the ATL growing up (Egwa Tawa Dee I think) and also one from Meck County.

i like to think i am pretty decent at math but i have no clue what any of this means

If something varies with compass direction, a regular regression analysis will get really confused and determine that there is no relationship when in fact there is. So a trigonomic transformation of the compass measurements supposedly can fix this, but it gets confusing fast. So we chopped the compass into segments and ran it as a categorical variable instead of a continuous variable. #talkintrig

If it helps my cred here, I strongly prefer sex without a condom, but prefer sex with a condom to no sex at all.

I've been dormant in scouting for a long time. My son is a Webelo, and I've been his den leader for the last 4 years. But prior to us going to summer camp for the first time this year, I hadn't really done much with the order of the arrow. Going up to Cherokee in Caswell County and seeing how awesome their lodge is really got me fired up. So I went up to my mom and dad's place, dug through the closet and got my old Philmont Trek map and my patch collection. It was really cool to see all that shit again. I pulled a radical fucking ghost patch from my council patch and a pretty sweet lodge flap for my new backup uniform. My son and I sewed our patches on our uniforms this past weekend. Since he's now a webelow, he went from blue to tan.

men, do you see one doctor on a recurring basis or do you just go to a doctor's office and see a random doctor when you need a checkup? I can't seem to find someone who just does general medicine so I end up going to a big doctor group and see whoever has time on their schedule. Now that i'm getting older it seems like it might be time to get a regular physical with the same person.

i'm going to track down my philmont patch and put it on my leader uniform. good idea.

prob going to cause a new spate of lawsuits for BSA when everyone gets a boner over my badass PATCH game.

The fact that you had to address this to men is amusing. I have a guy at Tryon. He's OK. I haven't seen him in a long time though, as he seemed to always want to just refer me to specialists for any sort of problem, even minor stuff. Kind of an unnecessary middle man relationship.

I see the same doctor every time I go in.

The doctor I was assigned to left the practice a decade ago so since then it’s been anyone available at the practice, whenever I feel like trying to book an appointment. I think it’s been at least two years since I had a physical.

i'll be 50 next year and would like to have some level of consistency as i get OLD.

this is how men do it i think, until we get OLD and then i want someone to know my history at least a little.
