Florida State at Wake Forest, 3:30 Saturday on ESPN

Score does not reflect that game. I'm not bitching but Wake could have EASILY won that game 55 to 14. Easily.

I think that is what fired him, if the loss hadn’t. FSU fans were probably embarrassed by that.

Don't think they can afford that as they owe Taggart many millions

I get that the slow mesh makes it easier for defenses to bow their backs in short yardages situations, but why do we continue to do that when we only need 3-5 yards for a score? Can we not roll out there in a power formation and pound it in all the same or does that limit our options? I’m genuinely confused why we haven’t fixed this problem yet and it’s been at least 3 years since it’s been an obvious issue.

Not the running backs. Offensive line is serviceable at best. Beef boys is laughable.

The deep pockets crowd in Tallahassee always has money for a new coach. They fired Taggart for the same on field discipline problems Norvell is having. This is bigger than just coaching. I think there are some problems that Jimbo saw that encouraged him to leave for A&M.

For what it’s worth, I’ve heard FSU is going to give Norvell three years. That’s easier said than done after this start. They get a pretty weak Louisville team next week.

Has there been any commentary on the FSU Flag Corp running out the flags after an FSU TD spelling out NOELS instead of NOLES. I work in the press box and we were cracking up!
 
Was hoping Wake would continue to run offense and stick one more TD on the scoreboard. Free Shoes U needs a little taste of what it feels like to be thoroughly beaten.
 
Wake is part of history today. This is only the 5th time Miami, FSU, and UF has lost on the same day in 43 years.

I felt like we played pretty poorly first half. Crucial penalties and turnovers. Much better second half. FSU is flat out bad. If we had not made so many first half mistakes we would have won by a few more touchdowns. What made me happiest was how we fixed shit and halftime and closed the game out in dominating fashion in the second half.
