This game would be over if not for that punt block TD.
 
That wasn’t even close to a completed catch. His knee bounced off the ground and then by the time he secured the ball, he was laying OB.
 
No designed runs for Darnold today. Would be nice to show something different.
 
Agree with Vilma that a hurry up offense would switch things up.

There is just no way there’s a worse starting QB in the NFL than this clown.
 
Can't catch. Can't hold on to the ball. Can't get to fumbles. This team is trash.
 
It’s almost like what Darnold has done in college also transitions to the nfl.
 
I guess maybe you’d take Darnold over Tyler Wilson? Anyone else? He’s a lot worse than Teddy ever was.
 
defense is good enough to play us out of a top draft pick again. we're gonna stumble into 3 more wins and be in the 10+ range in the draft. qb purgatory.

i assume you mean zach wilson and if so, i would take zach just based on potential to figure it out. darnold adds nothing of value now or in the future.
 
In the 2nd half alone, DJ has had a critical fumble which totally changed the game, a dropped TD, and now a dropped 50 yarder.
 
He made the smart play there. A little dump off to Chuba before the 2 min warning.

Nobody can catch. Embarrassing effort.
 
While I have blasted Darnold all day, the move made sense at the time during a rebuild. Maybe he turns it around later in the year but damn he sucks.

I wish he showed promise without CMC but can’t rely on a rare RB to build a franchise around.
