Official 2021 College Football Thread: Grass Picker Named to CFP Selection Committee!

I looked at Cuse, but I think they have high potential to lay an egg on the road after a few decent home games. No real reason why... Just no confidence there. And VT sucks so I can't play them either.

Every result looks different weeks after it happens.

Your own Bulldogs (who I have been on the record saying for a while are, by far, the best team in the country) struggled to beat Clemson. That result isn't nearly as impressive now.

For ND, the struggles against FSU, Toledo, & VT still look bad (and probably even worse)... But now that Purdue win looks better after they knocked off Iowa.

You could go through every team's schedule and extrapolate to come up with poor conclusions.

This logic applies to Cincy. Keeping them out of our party is important.

As far as I know, OKST is at full strength (at least as much as anyone is at this point in the season). I just think it's a nice setup for Iowa State and expect them to roll.

Back to back big road games for OKST is a tall order.

That's what I thought. Always have to stick to advancing the agenda. Shame on me for thinking otherwise.

I still just think it's a pu pu platter of good (but not great) teams after #1.

And Cincy is going to the Big 12 soon!

Yeah, I'm thinking Cuse finally puts one together and VT really isn't very good.

UNC has some pretty terrible losses for a top 10 team.

The Big 12 will no longer be a Power 5 conference. It's just the Power 4.

Haven't put any actual wagers in yet, but I like the above. The games below I have no real read on... But want to do some work.

Surprised to see UCLA as a 1 point favorite at home against #10 Oregon... Something I am missing there?

Having a hard time not taking Clemson +3.5 @ Pitt... I know Clemson sucks, but there is a lot of talent on that team and they've been shit on a lot over the last week ahead of this game.

Also intrigued by Louisville -5.5 at home against BC & Miami +3.5 at home against NCSU.

Love Iowa State. OK State is the most counterfeit undefeated team in the country. The only Big 12 school that has scored less points is Kansas. OK State has had a bunch of misleading wins. Iowa State is much better than its record.

Also, like Miami +3.5, Maryland +4.5, UCLA -1, LA Tech +6, Oregon State +3, Illinois/Penn State U 45.5...

Will also probably take BYU -4 at Washington State. Hard to imagine a more distracted and less focused team than Wazzu given that 5 coaches were fired this week.

Wait, the CFP Championship is in fucking Indianapolis? Is that a one year thing or what? What a giant kick in the nuts for whatever fan base gets to go. Indianapolis in January, woof.

It rotates around. Big Ten schools have been complaining about having to travel south and play "road" bowl games for years, so it was going to end uo in the midwest eventually. I mean, it's not as bad as Houston, where it is also going soon.
 
I'm not a betting man, but UVA -6.5 seems like easy money. I think UVA wins that by at least two tds.
