Poor State, maybe next year it can be their year. Then they can celebrate because they have the biggest and most awesomeist fans in the country.

We appear to be so much more on top of things like this since Currie took over. Maybe it's a coincidence but we just seem to have our shit together from a social and multimedia perspective.
 
The stats from that last drive are pretty amazing. Ran 9:41 off the clock with 13 straight runs, and only got 32 yards.

Agreed. It's way better since he took over. I know some folks were mocking Wake for that hire but so far, I've loved having him at Wake.
 
Currie is great. Our social media is amazing. A million times better. Like a big time program should be.

And he’s done a much better job incorporating the Winston community and making Deacs the team of the town than Wellman ever did. Don’t think I’ve ever seen Wake more involved in Winston community in 30 years - not just an elite school behind the gates anymore. It’s okay that we might be some fans’ second favorite team - doesn’t mean you still can’t capture them the other 11/12 games a year Deacs don’t play UNC, State, VT, App St, Duke, etc.

That is great to hear. I will say that there were actual Wake chants of “safety school” and “country club school” from Wake fans to BC today, which WTF. Hoping we continue to just not get those people in our student body.

And Clawson hasn't hurt matters by giving Currie a product he can actually market to the larger community. Currie appears to have a far better feel for what is required to put butts in seats. Wellman seemed to really not want to be bothered by the peasants.

Love these videos. Would love to see one of the full trophy presentation and celebration! Seeing Clawson’s intensity there, I can’t imagine he was ever even thinking about leaving. He loves MSD.

This. I've noticed a difference since Currie has been here to get our athletics up to speed. Like others stated, it's more student/community/fan inclusive and it's making a difference. I think back over the years and the multitude of small, and large, changes/improvements we've experienced and it's great. Like, how many of you remember the year the concession stadium cups smelled like diapers?!
